Movie Title: Madha
Genre: Psychological Thriller, Message oriented, Eye opener
Director: Srividya Basawa
Producer: Indira Basawa (Director's Mother)
Cast:
Trishna Mukherjee (Lead actress)
Rahul Venkat (Lead actor)
Anish Kuruvilla (Villain)
Bikramjeet Kanwarpal (Imp Supporting Character)

This is latest movie that I have watched while I am writing this post. Thriller is one of my favorite movie genres. The movie was really engaging. From the very beginning of the movie, the characters carry the mystery and I will say that director is successful in executing the film screenplay.

Trishna acted very well as an innocent lady and also as psychologically disturbed person (You will understand when you watch the film). Rahul Venkat who is lead actor in the film is successful in carrying the mystery till the end of the film.

The video quality and sound mixing are little low when compared to the industry standard. I felt like I am watching short film. Given the budget of the film it is totally understandable.

The background score of the film was good and carries the suspense.

I felt the movie to be little dark and grainy. I was uncomfortable while watching few scenes. However those are justified at the end of the film. The whole film was for a noble cause.

Do you know? Director Srividya Basawa approached some producer cum distributor to watch the film. After watching the film, that person like the film so much that he actually offered 1 crore to her and asked her to scrape this one and film the same with big cast. However, Srividya has rejected the offer as she worked on this for 3 years and moreover all the cast acted by trusting her. Source: Revealed by actor Navdeep at Madha pre-launch event.

The problem with these kind of films is that I cannot give a story line because if I do that, I will reveal the mystery and if I do not, I will mislead audience. ☹️

All I can say is the entire film was a mission.

Well, I don't like giving spoilers for thriller films. Watch the film on Amazon prime and share your experience in the comments.

Verdict: Might not be a nail biting thriller but definitely a must watch film. No wonder that this film got those many awards 🙌

PS: I don't like star rate the movies. Instead I will just recommend or do not recommend the films with a proper justification in my view.
