It's quarantine time. Bored of Maggie everyday. I wanted to try something different. When checked with my mom we had Dosa batter in small quantity which can do 3-4 dosas. Then I thought of this experiment. It is a mix of egg Dosa and Maggie.
Ingredients:
1. One onion
2. Two chilies
3. Two eggs
4. One Maggie packet
5. Dosa batter
6. Salt
7. Red chili powder
8. Tomato sauce
Recipe:
1. Cook Maggie without masala and strain the water. Once done, add normal / cold water to cooked Maggie.
2. Take the chopping board and cut the onion into small pieces - square cut. As per your taste, take chilies and cut them into small pieces.
3. Take these finely chopped onion and chili into a bowl. Add salt, chili powder (if required) and Maggie masala.
4. Break two eggs into the bowl and beat them till you see foam.
5. Check cooked Maggie temperature and if it is normal, add the Maggie to the above mixture.
6. Take Dosa pan and turn on the heat to medium.
Wait for 30 seconds, now add a ladle full of batter to the center of the pan and spread it evenly sweeping in circular motions.
7. Add oil or ghee on the Dosa. Now quickly add the stuff we prepared in step 5 on top of the Dosa.
8. After 15 to 20 seconds, carefully flip the Dosa to get the stuff fully cook.
9. Now fold the Dosa into half and serve it with tomato sauce.
While tomato sauce goes best with this Dosa, you can try with coconut chutney too. As it is lock-down here in Hyderabad, I am unable to get either coconut or fresh tomato sauce. So we had it with tomato chutney and it was awesome. You must try this food.
While one Dosa is enough for normal human, someone is of my size may need two 😅
