This
is the latest movie I have watched while I am writing this post (Well, you
read it right). As you already knew, Thriller is one of my favorite genres. We
often see thrillers to be very serious and with less entertainment. This movie
is different, it has neat comedy, emotions, ethics and crisp story. This film
has very limited number of actors. The director stuck to the plot without any
deviations and hats-off to the screenplay. The screenplay of this film makes
you sit tight to your seat.
Vivek is a student who is often lazy and want to earn money without
doing any work. Shankar comes Hyderabad to apply job and fly to Dubai for
work. Ramu is hard worker with police job aspirations. Kumar is a person who
wants to earn money in shortcuts. Aditi is an artist. All the five has a story
behind them. In this film, there are no lead actor/actress. The film is all
about five good friends and in the need how they have earned money. (good way
/ bad way) Amazing acting by all the five actors though it is their debut
film.
This movie has only one song. It has some deep heartwarming
lyrics about dreams, thoughts and wishes. The song was choreographed very
aptly to the lyrics. It was composed and sung by M.M. Keeravani. You can watch
it here : YouTube
We have to talk about the villain role played by Pavan Malhotra.
He has give best performance as gangster. He comes to Hyderabad on a purpose
and wants to go back to Dubai where his business is. Police will have the
information about him and once get almost caught by them in airport. Now he
has different plans to implement so that he will not be caught by police and
reach Dubai. Pavan Malhotra got special jury award in Nandi awards 2003 for
his acting in this film.
Verdict:
I dont want to give any spoilers of the film that may ruin your movie
experience. This is a must watch film if you like thrillers. I felt this movie
is far ahead during the time it was released. During the time of 2003, most of
the films are of drama, family, factionalism genre. The caption is aptly set.
I recommend watching this film.
