Hi everyone, in this article I will share my vanilla cake recepie. It is very simple to prepare and the ingredients used are commonly used in daily cooking and are available at any store.

Firstly, the below are the required ingredients to prepare cake.

Ingredients:

1. Butter 100gms
2. Eggs - 3
3. All purpose flour - Maida - 250gms
4. Sugar - 250gms
5. Baking powder - 1/2 spoon
6. Vanilla essence - 4 drops
7. Water - 100ml

Recipe:

1. If the butter is solid in state, remove it from fridge so that it melts at room temperature.


2. Take 250gms of sugar and blend it into fine powder.


3. Break the eggs and separate egg white and yolks.

4. Take a bowl, add egg whites and use hand whisker or electric one to whisk them until it becomes a white foam.

5. Now add powdered sugar to whisked egg whites bowl and mix it for another minute.


6. Take another big bowl. Add flour, very little amount of salt (optional), separated egg yolks, 80gm butter at room temperature. Now mix the contents until it becomes a fine paste without any lumps, use hand whisker for easy mixing. Add water as needed.


7. Pre-heat your oven in convection mode at 160 degrees (if fan assisted) or 180 degrees (normal oven) temperature. The time for pre-heat depends oven to oven. It takes good 5-6 minutes.


8. Meanwhile add the whisked egg whites and sugar to the other bowl. Add baking powder, Vanilla essence and do final mixing until you see fine paste with no lumps.

9. Take your cake mould and grease it using the butter. Put butter on the walls of the cake mould so that it will be easy for us to remove the cake from mould after baking. Now add the above prepared cake mix to it.


10. After the oven id preheated, set the time to 40minutes and put the cake mould with cake mix in it. 

11. While the cake is being baked, you will sense a nice vanilla flavor. 

12. From 25 minutes after the baking process start, for every 5 minutes open the oven door and insert toothpick into the cake to check if the cake is evenly baked (bottom). 

13. Once done, remove the cake from oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 8-10 minutes. Use a knife to separate cake from walls of cake mould. Now flip the cake mould on to a large plate.

That's it. Yummy, Fluffy Vanilla cake is ready.


Note:

1. The sponginess of the cake depends on how well you whisk the egg whites.
2. To get that extra fluffiness, add 2 more egg whites. Remember not to add more yolks than three. So, it would become 5 egg whites and 3 egg yolks.
